Truck Gets Stuck Watagua

One lane of E. Watauga Avenue was temporarily closed Sunday after a tractor-trailer became stuck under an Interstate 26 bridge. The Johnson City Police Department said, the tractor-trailer was reportedly attempting to cross under the bridge while moving an oversized load and did not have enough clearance, which caused it to become stuck.

Truck Knocks Out Power In JC

The Johnson City Police Department diverted traffic from John Exum Parkway near Greenway Drive on Sunday afternoon. Brightridge reported that a passing truck reportedly took down a power pole and lines. And, that a three phase line would likely require a transformer and pole replacement. No injuries were reported. The incident is still being investigated.
