Wood Construction Plea

Leighton Wood, owner of a defunct construction company in Tennessee, is negotiating a potential plea deal on federal criminal wire fraud charges, which could lead to up to 20 years in prison. Wood Construction and Remodeling is accused of deceptively advertising its services, collecting deposits and follow-up payments, and not completing work. Victims have been invited to a conference call April 16 so they can learn about the proposal and provide input.
