Man Killed When Truck Flips On Him

A man was killed when a tractor-trailer flipped on top of him Tuesday night. the Greene County Sheriff’s Department (GCSD) reports a 1960s International tractor-trailer, the box truck rolled over off of a trailer and flipped over onto Robert Clark, of Afton. The incident ooccured in the 1800 block of Charles Johnson Road.

Fire On East Center Street

Firefighters responded to a structure fire on East Center Street in Kingsport on Wednesday morning. The Kingsport Fire Department (KFD) responded to the fire in the 800 block of East Center Street. The fire was quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Kingsport Fire Marshal’s Office.
