United Way Of Bristol Update

The fundraising campaign for the United Way of Bristol Tennessee and Virginia has raised more than 325-thousand dollars. The money for United Way will go towards providing various resources like childcare development, reuniting unsheltered people with their families back home in other communities, and providing rides to and from work for employees without transportation.

Second Harvest Donation

The Hawkins County Commission has appointed the temporary full-time replacement for suspended juvenile judge Daniel Boyd.Amy Skelton was appointed Monday, according to Hawkins County Mayor Mark DeWitte.Skelton’s salary will equate to $193,194 annually and she will serve until the end of the 2024 election season.
