During Monday’s Jonesborough’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved almost $1.9 million to fund a study to expand the town’s water supply capabilities.Right now, the town currently pumps 4 million gallons a day from its water treatment plant.After improvements are made, the town could see that number ride to 8 million gallons per day.
