Downtown merchants in Jonesborough will be handing out canine treats according to a release from Tennessee Tails Pet Boutique (TTPB), the second Doggie Hop Easter Egg Hunt will return to downtown Jonesborough on Saturday, April 16 for another round of goodies and pet entertainment. Humans are also encouraged to tour the downtown Jonesborough area.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is reporting 31 deadly use-of-force incidents that occurred in the state in its 2021 report released on Wednesday.According to the report, 11 incidents occurred in a residents. Nine occurred on a highway, road, alley, sidewalk, or street.June, August, and October accounted for nearly half of the reported deaths.
