Democrats in Washington Countyu held a caucus on Saturday in Johnson City to select a nominee for the open seat on the County COmmission. The seat was left vacant due to the passing of commissioner Suzy Williams in June. Just one candidate, Raven Olson, filed to replace Williams. Olson is a Hampton High School biology teacher. Three other candidates were endorsed to run for three open seats on the Johnson City Commission.
