Johnson County Parents Upset Over Gender Pronoun Discussion In Choir Class

Some Johnson County school board heard from upset parents Thursday night regarding a recent discussion between a choir teacher and a missle school class over state laws on gender pronouns in the classroom. Director of Schools Mischelle Simcox told the parents that the teacher has been told not to bring up the topic again, but some parents claims their students say the discussions are still happening. Since the beginning of the school year, 21 students have transferred out of the choir teacher’s class.
