Ballad Health says it has brought in more than a dozen residents from an assisted living facility that abruptly closed. Late Wednesday, Ballad Health said 15 patients had been brought in suddenly from the facility, which it did not name. Ballad would say only that the facility was not Ballad-owned and came with no warning. Patients were split among several hospitals, including Johnson County COmmunity, Sycamore Shoals, Franklin Woods Community, and Johnson City Medical Center.
