Tragic news out of Carter COunty, where a 15 year old boy has died in a crash. THP says it happened Tuesday evening in the 1500 block of Powder Branch Road. The 15 year old driver was alone in a vehicle when reports indicate he lost control and ran off the left side of the pavement. The vehicle then struck a utiplity pole and a tree before flipping onto its top and landing in a ravine. The report also says the teenager was not wearing a seat belt.
