AAA is predicting record levels of holiday travel during the long Memorial Day weekend with the vast majority of people hitting the highways. Nationwide, AAA forecasts almost 44 million people will travel 50 or more miles from home this weekend. That is expected to include 1.2 million in Virginia and over 926,000 people in Tennessee. Friday is expected to be the busiest travel day of the weekend. Be sure to nuckle up.
