Former Greene Couinty school board member Tom Cobble pleaded guiolty Wednesdat, admitting to a charge of official misconduct. Cobble resigned from the school board last month. A judge ordered him to serve on year of probation. He will also not be allowed to hold any elected public office, vote or own a gun. Cobble, according to District Attorney Dan Armstrong, engaged in “untoward activity” with students… some who were in a foreign exchange program. The Greene County Commission is expected to name Cobble’s replacement on May 20th.
