Demolition of the partially collapsed structure on Shelby Street in Bristol is drawing near. The structure at 933 Shelby Street was meant to be a Holiday Inn, but construction halted after the building partially collapsed in September 2020. The city issued a demolition permit to developers on April 19, and construction equipment has begun to show up on the property. Once demolition begins, the developer has six months to complete it.
