TN Bill Would Allow Teachers To Carry Guns

Tennesseee lawmakers continue to focus on school choice, as the end of the legislative session nears. One bill would also allow teachers to carry firearms in public schools. Bristol Republican Senator Jon Lundberg there are a couple of measures in place that school districts would have to follow. The teacher gun law would require 40 hours of training before hand, followed by 40 additional hours of training annually. Individual teachers must also be approved by their local police agency.
