Kingsport’s Eastman Chemicals has announced it will receive 375 million dollars to support its second molecular recycling facility. The money comes from the US Department of Energy, according to an Eastman statement. The company has chosen Longview, Texas, for it’s second molecular recycling facility. Eastman says the plant will have the capability to recycle around 110-thousand metric tonnes of hard-to-recycle-plastic waste and create around 200 permanent jobs.
