JC Leaders Approve Building Studies

Johnson City leaders are moving forward with plans to study a new John Sevier Center and Downtown Centre. Commissioners approved the study Thursday night, which will be done by Hunden Partners. The vote was to approve spending no more than 175-thousand dollars on the study to determine the best use for both sites downtown. Phase one would focus on the highest and best uses and market for the facilities. Phase two would include developer solicitation and selection services.
