A Greeneville Energy Authority, employee sustained serious burns after making contact with a 7200 volt line. He was flown to Johnson City Medical Center, but was transported to the burn center at Vanderbilt for significant burns, which are not considered to be life-threatening. GEA posted to FB that this is an unfortunate reminder of the dangers that GEA linemen deal with on a daily basis.
