Tennessee Governor Bill Lee met with the Tennessee National Guard before their deployment to the southern U.S. border over the weekend. Lee committed to deploying two waves of active-duty soldiers to support border security efforts. During the meeting, Lee emphasized the importance of human and drug trafficking as a “crisis for our country” and expressed pride in the volunteer efforts of the Tennesseans.
