A new warming shelter is open in Greenville for those who have no place to go.The CARE Center at 766 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy. opened Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, offering warm meals and other care to those in need.CARE stands for a Community in Action Reaches Everyone, a new organization designed to serve the homeless and others in need.When the weather is cold the shelter is open 24 hours a day, according to organizer Rhonda Castro.
