Virginia’s two US Senators voted in favor of a new legislative package to give millions in federal funding to Southwest Virginia projects. In a prepared statement, Sentator Mark Warner said he was disappointed that Conmgress has yet to get a full spendiong bill across the finish line, he’s please to see movement to fund critical components of the government. The package includes funding for veterans’ benefits, nutrition programs for families, affordable housing assistance, local infrastructure projects, military construction projects, and much more, Warner said.
