Greene County Mayor Kevin Morrison and Town of Greeneville Mayor Cal Doty have signed a proclamation commemorating the 240th anniversary of Greeneville and Greene County’s founding alongwith Greene County Historian Tim Massey. A 240th anniversary celebration will be held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 29 at the State of Franklin cabin on College Street.
