Economic development at the former Greene Valley Developmental Center in Tusculum is moving ahead with the announcement that the Tusculum-Greeneville-Greene County Industrial Development Board will receive a $100,000 grant for some studies on 336 acres of undeveloped land.Gov. Bill Lee and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter announced that the Greene Valley project is among 10 new Site Development Grants statewide totaling about $3.1 million.
