The results of a petition has led the Greeneville Board of Education to approve a request that will allow teachers to negotiate salaries, benefits, and working conditions.The request from Greeneville Education Association President Heather Boegemann came in the form of a petition signed by nearly 60% of full-time city teachers, many more than the 15% required by state law.
