No thanksgiving turkey? Local organizations are facing tough decisions as the supply of turkeys decrease due to inflation and the avian bird flu. Turkey is already off the menu at King University because of supply issues.Executive Chef Josh Degeare says they are limited to two orders per week.”It’s gonna be a pretty big issue come Thanksgiving, they’re already telling us if we plan on catering or any other events, we need to suggest other options,” Degeare added.Degeare says King University plans to serve prime rib, pork tenderloin, and other meats on Thanksgiving.
