With a crucial federal inspection looming that could affect the iconic John Sevier Center (JSC) building’s future, Johnson City Commissioners have approved a $400,000 emergency request for elevator repairs at the iconic former hotel. The eleven story elevator has been under repair off and on since February causing problems for many residents with mobility issues. Premier Elevator will be making the necessary repairs.
