A Johnson City police officer accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend is now behind bars.According to court documents, 46-year-old David Smith was charged with aggravated domestic assault. The incident happened Saturday morning. A police report says Smith is accused of shoving the victim into cabinets, placing a gun to her head and telling her multiple times he was going to kill her.
