A number of Virginia state senators are in our region this week to listen to the needs of Southwest Virginia citizens.Members of the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee are in Abingdon for several meetings this week. Among the most discussed topics, senators are addressing funding opportunities to grow business in Southwest Virginia as part of the listening sessions.
