The Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center and the Virginia Oil and Gas Association are teaming up to host an emergency supply drive this Saturday, September 4th in rsponse to the flooiding in Hurley recently.The drive will last from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon. All items will be sent directly to the Red Cross emergency shelter in Grundy. Items needeed include Any and All Cleaning SuppliesPaper TowelsToilet PaperToiletriesToothpasteToothbrushes (individually wrapped)ShampooFlashlightsandBattery Powered Lanterns.
