The Town of Abingdon says they’re “rounding second base and headed to third base,” when it comes to progress on the Abingdon Sports Complex.Pictures show sod has been placed on the baseball fields. Sod installation has already begun for the other fields.Town Officials say construction has started on the concession stand and maintenance buildings. Parking areas continue to make progress and street lights are starting to get installed, too.
