The CVS in Abingdon has been added to a list of 36 pharmacies across Virginia that are offering COVID-19 vaccines part of a federal partnership. The change comes after News 5 reported Wednesday the partnership left out Southwest Virginia.On the original list of 28 pharmacies, the closest option to Bristol was nearly two hours away in Blacksburg. Wednesday, a CVS representative said the state made the decision on locations. A CVS spokesperson said Thursday that CVS made the decision on adding more locations.
