Human trfaficking is the focus of the Red Sand Project… an interactive exhibit that uses red sand to fill sidewalk cracks. The effort symolizes the victims of human trafficking who have “fallen through the cracks” and don’t have opporunities to find resources to get help. More than 70 different organizations support the Red Sand Project, and some helped set up booths and give out information in Johnson City.
