The man who walked away from a Carter County work details has been previoyusly charged with attempted kidnapping and aggravated assault. Authorities are still trying to hunt down 43 year old Billy Fletcher, who has been missing since June 20th. Sheriff Mike Fraley says it’s believed Fletcher has been in contact with another man who has been reported missing, 61 year old Victor Birchfield. The TBA issued a Silver Alert for Birchfield on June 22nd. Birchfield’s vehicle has since been found abandoned in South Carolina.
