Main Street Greenevlle is hoping to qualify for grants to improve building facades downtown. Grants would be made available for commercial buildings in the 18-block downtown district. Some of the funding could also be used on general downtown improvements to the Eagle’s Rest pedestrian pathway and courtyard on South Main Street. The grant is through Tennessee Main Street and Tennessee Downtown with maximum funding of $300,000 per community.
