A ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday for the new Karing Hearts Heart and Vascular Center in johnson City. The new facility is located at 701 North State of Franklin Road. Cardiologist and Karing Hearts owner Jeff Schoondyke said the new facility will not only enhance accessibility for patients in the area, it will also save them money. Schoondyke said the new facility has been two to three years in the making.
