A public forum on Thursday with a packed house on the foster care system. Dozens gathered for the session in Bristol, which included several local organizations like Out Children Our Future. The summit also consisted of a resource fair. Right now, it’s believed there are more than 270 youth in the foster care system in Sullivan County alone. One of the goals of the forum was to attract more adults to become foster parents.
