The man who pleaded guilty to the 2023 killing of his wife in Washington County, Va. has been sentenced to life in prison.George Morgan was sentenced on Thursday for the first-degree murder of his wife, Ava Morgan. She served as a corrections officer at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. George shot Ava shot five times.
