Kingsport Police have been on the seen of a possible drowning case at Riverbend Park. Police and fire rescue responded to the park Tuesday evening in an attempt to locate and recover a body from the river near the South John B. Dennis Highway bridge. The body was recovered and has since been sent to ETSU for an autopsy. Foul play is not suspected in the case and police have not released the name of the victim.
