A sweeper truck was hit by a train in Washington County, Virginia Wednesday morning. Virginia State Police (VSP) reported that a street-sweeper truck was crossing the railroad tracks near an intersection when it was hit by the train. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to VSP. The truck was reportedly owned by a private contractor.
