No Drinking In WMA

High rates of intoxicated driving in Tennessee Wildlife Management Areas and frequent crashes have pushed the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) to implement an alcohol ban. Starting April 15, 2024, possessing and consuming alcohol in TWRA Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) will become illegal, according to the TWRA, but there are a few exceptions to the rule. TWRA campgrounds and on public waters bordering or within a WMA.
