A formal demolition permit has been granted for a now-collapsed Bristol hotel. The hotel is on Shelby Street, and was meant to be a Holiday Inn, but construction was halted when the building nearly collapsed four years ago. The permit says that once demolition begins, the contractor must complete cleanup within six months. So far, there are no other development plans for the property.
