Johnson City is one step closer to the construction of a 9,000 square foot fire training facility. The facility will include a classroom, four offices, a break room, locker rooms, and a training fire tower. The project is funded through an American Rescue Protection Plan grant. The concrete for the foundation was poured on Thursday. The pre-fab building is expected to arrive in May.
