The annual Day of Hope was celebrated in Greeneville on Saturday. The celebration was held at the CARE Center, which has been open only about three months. City officials and other stakeholders spoke about the impact the the CARE Center has had on the Greenville community. The CARE Center has already helped hundreds of people with food, shelter, and clothing. Greene County Mayor Kevin Morrison said initiative like this play a key role in helping to solve homelessness, addiction, and mental health problems.
