A man was killed in a fire that happened in Big Stone Gap. Firefighters responded to East Spring Street South where a house and an outbuilding were on fire. Once the fire was put out, the body of 57-year-old Jimmy C. Kennedy was found inside the outbuilding. He lived at the house and the outbuilding was used as a woodworking shop. No one was inside the house at the time of the fire. The fire is under investigation.
