Two people were arrested in Sullivan County after authorities say they seized 42 pounds of methamphetamine. The drugs worth more than a million dollars, according to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies tried to pull over a speeding car on I-26. Once stopped, a drug sniffing dog alerted, and that’s when the crystal meth was found. 37 year old Mark Anthony Trent, of Mount Carmel, and 51 year old Saundra Kay Hamilton, of Kingsport, were jailed with no bond.
