A Tennessee lawmaker is arguing a living wage is needed to keep up with inflation and other increased costs. Democratic Rep. Gloria Johnson has proposed legislation to increase starting wages to $20 an hour more than double the current minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. the plan is getting some pushback from Republicans some who say costs would be passed on to consumers.
