No Hunting For you

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has revoked the hunting privileges of Shelby Gene Church and Gene Allen Church for life following a series of violations. The two were charged in 2019 for illegally harvesting an eight-point buck from a road in Greene County. They pleaded guilty to numerous charges and were subsequently banned from hunting for life. In 2023, they were found to have harvested and checked in three deer during their revocation. Church was sentenced to six months in jail and forfeited his hunting privileges for life.
