More questions than answers art this point as the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of an inmate at the Carter County Detention Center.According to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified inmate was found unresponsive in their cell Thursday night. Jail staff performed CPR until EMS arrived. The inmate was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
