(JOHNSON CITY) – A Johnson City man, accused of leaving a 1-year-old child outside in the cold out of spite toward his girlfriend has been arrested.
Officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrest 21-year-old Joseph Davis and charge him with child abuse and neglect.
Officers respond to a domestic disturbance call at a home on E. Pine Street. They learn…following an argument between Davis and his girlfriend, the woman left the home. Her 1-year-old child remained in Davis’ care.
Davis later texted a photo to the woman, showing the child alone outside in the cold. Davis was taken to the Washington County Detention Center on a $15,000 dollar bond. The case continues.
