(GREENEVILLE) – The Greeneville City Council will consider design options to address a slope on portions of new sidewalks on Depot Street when it meets Tuesday.
Small portions of the newly poured sidewalk sections on West Depot Street slope between the sidewalk and the back of the curb. Approximately 2-foot-wide sections of concrete contain the slope between level sidewalk and level curb.
Members of the City Council have expressed concerns that the sloping sections of concrete between the sidewalk and curb could present a falling hazard.
