As drought conditions in parts of TN are at extreme levels, farmers, ranchers and livestock producers are taking a huge financial hit. With these drought conditions, farmers selling off their animals typically wont make the going rate, because they’re paying more to feed them, and getting less to sell them. Those running agriculture businesses in 51 counties across the state are now eligible for drought disaster assistance.
